Excessive dissolved concentrations in the incoming water pose challenges for many customers. They can lead to malfunctions in water treatment systems and higher operating costs. CO2 in the water, as a dissolved gas, cannot be retained by the membrane of a reverse osmosis system and thus places a strain on downstream components (EDI systems/mixed-bed ion exchangers). Ion exchangers experience a reduction in service life, while high CO2 concentrations in the water lead to disruptions in the continuous regeneration process in EDI systems. We offer a low-maintenance, chemical-free solution for these problems: our CO2 degassing system.
