From drinking water to ultrapure water - innovation in the smallest space

The LaboStar® PRO TWF systems produce ultrapure water directly from drinking water. The devices are equipped with pre-filtration and a reverse osmosis stage. The pure water is collected in the integrated 7 liter storage tank and circulated there by a circulation pump via the polisher module. Type III water can be taken from the tank and the quality is shown on the display. Type I water with a quality of 0.055 µS/cm, corresponding to 18.2 MΩ-cm, TOC between 1 and 10 ppb depending on the model, is taken from the dispenser. The LaboStar PRO TWF is a treatment system for the cost-effective production of small quantities of analytically pure water. The water quality exceeds all current quality standards. The systems can be extended with a 30 or 60 liter tank. A quality measurement of the product water in the recirculation constantly indicates the purity. The dispenser is equipped with a positive sterile filter 0.2 µm with endotoxin retention capacity. This eliminates the need for an expensive ultrafilter. A 0.2 µm sterile filter without endotoxin retention is also available. The ultrapure water system is supplied ready for use, including the first module and filter set.

Advantages

  • Can be upgraded with 30 or 60 l tank, manual removal via tap
  • Supplies two water qualities: ASTM Type III from the tank and Type I from the tap dispenser
  • Two different terminal filters available (with and without endotoxin retention)
  • Simple module replacement thanks to quick coupling
  • Low investment costs
  • Consumables included in the scope of delivery

Typical areas of application

  • General analyses
  • Standard buffers
  • AAS, GC, IC, ICP
  • Cell and tissue cultures
  • QC Food industry
  • Applications with extremely low pyrogen content - Type III water
  • Especially for LaboStar PRO TWF UV
  • Micro- and molecular biology
  • PCR
  • HPLC
  • TOC analyses

Highest water quality
The space-saving ultrapure water system for the cost-effective production of analytically pure water can be used as a benchtop device. The water quality with a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm, corresponding to 18.2 MΩ-cm, and a TOC content < 10 ppb in the DI version and < 5 ppb in the UV version, exceeds current quality standards. Demineralized water, distilled water or permeate from a reverse osmosis system is required as feed water for the LaboStar systems. In the LaboStar units, a polisher module with a selection of the purest treatment materials ensures ultra-pure water quality. A conductivity measurement in the recirculation constantly monitors the purity of the product water. The dispenser is equipped with a 0.2 µm sterile filter with bacteria and endotoxin retention capacity. The user can produce water with an endotoxin content of < 0.001 EU/ml without investing in an ultrafilter. A 0.2 µm filter without endotoxin retention is also available. The LaboStar system 4 is the mobile table-top unit with integrated tank for direct filling with feed water. The LaboStar systems are supplied ready for use, including the first module and filter set.

Advantages

  • Ultra-pure water circulation right into the dispenser head
  • Easy dispensing with the practical dispenser
  • Whispering operation
  • Quick and easy disinfection
  • Quality monitoring of the input water and ultrapure water
  • Pressure reducer included
  • Simple module change thanks to quick-release fasteners
  • Protective cover at the outlet of the sterile filter

LaboStar PRO UV 4/DI 4 Advantages

  • Integrated 7 liter tank
  • Mobile and location-independent use
  • After refilling the tank, the ultrapure water is available within minutes.
  • Simple plug & play installation (consumables included in the scope of delivery)
  • Made in Germany
