The Xylem Learning Centers are located at our European manufacturing facilities. Attending a course allows you to visit and learn more about a manufacturing facility in one of five countries: Italy, UK, Hungary, Austria, Poland.
The classrooms are well suited for the courses, equipped with modern technology and fit for different sizes of groups. To enhance the training experience, there are working models of pumps and systems available. A factory tour is included in each course.
Montecchio Maggiore, Italy
Xylem Montecchio has been on the same site since 1968 located just outside Vicenza, and an hour from Venice, Italy. This Xylem facility with 600 staff manufactures a full range of electric pumps dedicated to different areas of application. The factory is also engaged in the research, development and production of electric pumps and systems for the treatment and control of water. It is the largest Xylem facility in Europe, and specializes in stamped stainless steel products.
Cegléd, Hungary
Xylem Cegléd is a 60,000 sq m facility located just outside of Budapest, certified to the ISO9001 quality and ISO14001 environmental management standards. It was established in 1994, and originally operated by Laing, now a Xylem subsidiary, which is a specialist in the manufacture of residential circulators.
There are five training rooms capable of holding up to 12 people.
Stockerau, Austria
The Xylem Austria facility in Stockerau near Vienna was originally established as a pump factory in 1909 by Ernst Vogel. Xylem Austria is active in the planning, development, production and marketing of water technology pumps and conveying systems. The company develops complete solutions as well as turnkey production, including the Xylem brands of Lowara, Flygt and Wedeco.
The training room can accommodate up to 20 people.
Strzelin, Poland
The ISO9001 quality certified facility in Strzelin is the Group’s newest facility, and features 65,000 sq ft of manufacturing space alongside an additional 30,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space. The training facility includes 3 meeting rooms capable of accommodating up to 30 people. The facility primarily produces Lowara branded pumps for the residential and commercial building services as well as for the agricultural and irrigation sectors including 4-inch submersible pumps, 6 to 12-inch pumps and both surface and submersible motors.
