Big Blue Housings

Big Blue® and Big Clear filter housings offer versatility to meet many large capacity filtration needs, including high-flow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. Big Blue® high-flow polypropylene (HFPP) caps are available with 3/4, 1, or 1-1/2" NPT inlet and outlet ports. Big Clear HFPP caps are available only in 1" NPT inlet/outlet ports. The 1-1/4" internal port on all HFPP caps allows a greater volume of liquid to pass through more rapidly.

Opaque sumps are constructed of durable, reinforced polypropylene and are available in both 10" and 20" lengths. Big Clear 10" sumps are constructed of Lexan and Big Clear 20" out of Polycarbonate. Big Blue® Housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals and are available with or without an optional pressure relief button. They accept a wide variety of 4-1/2" diameter cartridges in either 10" or 20" lengths.
