Vitec 1000 is a liquid antiscalant designed to inhibit scale in feedwaters where the potential for colloidal and silt fouling is low (e.g., groundwater applications). It contains a 35% by weight solution of polyacrylic acid that has a tight molecular weight range of 2000 and is compatible with all reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. This antiscalant can be injected neat or diluted to meet system requirements. Vitec 1000 has been certified by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in systems producing drinking water.
