RoQuest 3000 is injected into the feed stream of multimedia and sand filters where it enhances filter performance by reducing turbidity and color to produce an improved filtrate that will reduce downstream reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) membrane fouling. Best results are achieved with municipally treated feedwaters and raw waters that contain relatively low concentrations of particulates and organic color. In raw waters, the upper limits of turbidity and color for this product are 2.0 NTU and 10 units, respectively.
