Xylem Together 2023: Fostering sustainable partnerships for a water-secure Europe
Xylem brought together water sector channel partners to advance collaboration and sustainability in Vienna for the first-ever “Xylem Together” European partner event. The conference focused on fostering innovation to help water operators better serve their communities.
Over two days, attendees engaged in panel discussions on market trends and pressing water challenges such as water scarcity, water affordability and resilience to climate change. A special emphasis was placed on sharing ideas and best practices for reducing greenhouse gas emissions as part of the water sector’s commitment to Net Zero. Discussion topics included: prioritizing energy efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, and net-zero water consumption.
More than 250 water experts from across Europe attended the first Partner Event Xylem Together 2023 in Vienna.
Hayati Yarkadas, President of Xylem Europe, commented, "We are at a unique intersection where we can create economic value for our stakeholders while addressing critical water challenges. Our aim is to build a platform that offers sustainable and economical solutions to our customers and communities."
Customers and distributors also had the opportunity to explore and learn about Xylem’s cutting-edge products, technologies and solutions through a series of workshops and exhibitions. More than 250 participants, representing over 70 channel partners from nearly 30 European countries, attended the event.

Christoph Kullmann, Vice President of Channel Management at Xylem, said, "Xylem Together 2023 provided a unique platform to deepen our relationships with partners and explore new ways to extend our business and environmental impact together – both now and in the future."
A highlight of the conference was the charity auction in support of Watermark, Xylem's social responsibility program. Participants bid on branded prizes from Premier League football champions Manchester City, with Xylem matching the winning amounts. The auction raised over €36,000, which will be donated to water-related projects aiding relief efforts in Ukraine, in collaboration with Xylem's NGO partner Americares.
Charity auction hosted by Ian Thompson (Vice President UK, Ireland & Eastern Europe) raised over €36,000.
