Located in a Central Florida town, the Hillsborough County Water Treatment Facility now has a variety of Smith-Blair products incorporated into its pipelines; some up to eighty inches in diameter. The treatment plant is using Smith-Blair's Flanged Coupling Adapters, among other products, to keep their operation running.
For this particular job, Smith-Blair built 36 inch Flanged Coupling Adapters (FCAs). The FCAs are designed to provide an efficient means to remove and reinstall the pumps, valves and other fittings during maintenance procedures.
Flanged Coupling Adapters, such as these, are available for almost any type and size of pipe and can be designed with integral restraint mechanisms.
FCAs allow for adjustability in length and some deflection capability as well.
