A Smart Water Case Study from Nashville, Tennessee
Marcelo Cusacovich, Xylem Product Manager for Drinking Water Optimization Solutions, discusses details of how the city of Nashville, Tennessee, is optimizing its water to help utility water managers make better decisions based on analytics such as 24/7 measured and predictive pressure data. Cusacovich also shares how he works with utilities to find better ways to deliver water to consumers lowering cost, providing better access, and maintaining consistent levels of service. He also discusses the concept of “water age” as a proxy for water quality, and how he determines how old water is based on various treatment and transportation methods.
