Thomas Pettit (Tom) leads Xylem’s Operations and Integrated Supply Chain organization. In this role, he oversees all Xylem operations, driving operational excellence and process simplification across the company. This includes building the vision and roadmap for Xylem’s continuous improvement initiatives, including implementing Lean problem solving and waste reduction methodologies, and leading the company toward best-in-class status in operations, procurement, supply chain, logistics, safety, real estate and compliance.
Tom joined Xylem in 2022 and has more than 20 years of experience leading complex global supply chain, operations and commercial organizations in the industrial and services sectors, including as:
Tom is an advocate for veterans and women, including being recognized as notable Veteran Executive for his contributions supporting military, veterans and their families. He is also an avid proponent for career development of women in integrated supply chain.
In the community, Tom serves on the Board of National Association of Manufacturers, and is involved with substance abuse recovery, health and economic development nonprofits that work to improve lives around the world.
