Xylem CBS and FHRA Watermark Fundraiser
On March 8, 2020, Xylem CBS and FHRA hosted its first Xylem Watermark event of the FHRA 2020 Challenge in Maui, Hawaii to raise awareness and money to support an important local charity, The Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve. The event was held at The Ritz Carlton, Kapalua, which works tirelessly to support the watershed and its local community, and the fundraising opportunity was posted on Watermark’s Community Impact Portal.
The event kicked off with lawn games and challenges between Xylem employees and FHRA members leading up to the main event, the bag toss tournament. The tournament’s grand-prize winner was able to donate the funds, which was matched by Xylem Watermark, to the watershed in the name of their rep firm. The event culminated with a moving speech made at the FHRA luau by the heads of the preserve with a check presentation of $22,650.
Through the collective power of all the FHRA members, Xylem employees combined with Watermark’s mission of helping to solve water, the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve will use the funds raised to continue its efforts of protecting the fresh water resources of the area and preservation of native species.
