Bill joined Xylem in 2023 with more than 20 years of financial experience, representing a powerful mix of expertise and a track record of strong leadership. He has led global finance organizations that service the municipal, industrial, life sciences, and energy sectors, including as:

• Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IDEX Corporation, a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered, mission-critical products for a wide range of markets. Bill was responsible for a global financial strategy that supported more than doubling the Company’s market cap during his tenure as CFO. He previously served as Vice President, Operations Finance at IDEX.
• Bill held various positions of increasing responsibility in finance roles at Walgreens, Highway Technologies, Crane Co. and Sears Holding Corp.

Community Impact

Bill is a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committees of the industrial technology company Crane NXT. He also serves on the Advisory Council for the Girard School of Business at Merrimack College. Bill is a values-based leader focused on championing diversity, leading several employee resource groups over his career.
