Construction site projects are often met with challenges associated from the accumulation of stormwater runoff, sediment-laden water, and potentially contaminated groundwater which can lead to safety hazards, project delays, damaged materials, and regulatory issues if not managed properly.
Whether your construction project falls under commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure, or utility construction, Xylem can deliver the solutions you need to mitigate these risks.
We offer a wide range of pumps and mobile treatment systems for dewatering, stormwater management, wastewater handling, and contaminant removal. These solutions are essential for digging ever-deeper tunnels, dealing with high water tables, repairing water main breaks, moving wastewater, and meeting environmental regulations. And when it comes to the needs of construction vehicles, our pumps can handle a wide range of viscosities and temperatures present in these demanding environments.
Evoqua brought a mobile 20,000 lb carbon filtration system using Evoqua’s AquaCarb® S Series reactivated granular carbon to downtown Muskegon. Additional equipment was added to the system, which included frac tanks for holding the clean water, bag filters and pumps.
As part of a major highway improvement project, construction dewatering was required in an area in order to pour footings for an overpass. Contaminated water from an adjacent Superfund site was drawn into the dewatering stream, requiring treatment of the contaminated water stream prior to discharge on-site.
