Water for Germany
With H2Org
WildWeser Environmental Awareness and River Protection Project
The Weser River, stretching 452 km from Hann. Münden to the North Sea, faces growing threats from water pollution and microplastic contamination. H2Org is working to engage communities and youth in protecting this vital freshwater ecosystem while raising awareness about sustainable behavior and environmental stewardship. Through the WildWeser project, the river itself becomes a classroom, combining science, education, and public participation to inspire lasting change.
Xylem Watermark is partnering with H2Org – für eine plastikfreie Natur e.V., a nonprofit dedicated to reducing plastic pollution and fostering sustainable water practices. Together, they support a series of educational events, clean-ups, and citizen science activities along the Weser River, amplifying the impact of the project and involving employees, local schools, and community groups.
