Eagle Harbor, Maryland, is a historic waterfront community with a rich cultural heritage. The town faces challenges with its drinking water as the well supplying the community center contains sediment and has detectable levels of PCBs. Ensuring safe, potable water is critical for community health and the ongoing vitality of this unique town.
Xylem Watermark is partnering with Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) to redevelop the community well and install a filtration system, providing safe water access while supporting the town’s sustainability and resilience efforts.
