We have reported our environmental performance annually through CDP — a global non-profit that supports companies, cities, states, and regions in measuring and disclosing their environmental impact — since 2013.
Beginning in 2021, we extended this commitment to our supply chain by encouraging all high-impact suppliers to disclose their environmental performance through CDP. Many have already joined us in this effort, and for those who haven’t yet, getting started is straightforward—and we’re here to support the process.
This initiative is a key part of our Supply Chain Sustainability Strategy. Going forward, reporting to CDP on climate change and water security will be a requirement for all Xylem Preferred Suppliers and will be integrated into our supplier evaluation program.
