Cleaning the pump end

Your LORENTZ pump is a helical rotor pump, which means it is able to handle some degree of dirt. You should not run it in very dirty, sandy or even muddy water. If your pump is used in normal conditions, no cleaning should be required.

Required tools

The process is easy to do with a few common tools:

  • Wrench SW13
  • Screwdriver (optional)

How to

  1. Diassemble the pump end body from the motor by removing the 4 nuts
  2. Detach the pump end
  3. Clean the rotor from dirt if needed
  4. Clean the pump end from dirt if needed, we recommend that you hold the pump end under running water and rinse it
  5. After you finished cleaning the pump end, attach it again to the motor.
  6. You will need to apply a torque of 7 Nm.
