    Enhancing Fire Prevention Methods

Exploring strategies, innovations, and best practices for achieving effective fire protection and energy efficiency in buildings.

Our Solution To Optimise Fire Protection

Fire is one of the most common threats for us and the building we live in. It can easily wipe out all of our lives and things we have worked hard for. That’s why here at Xylem we made it our mission to develop reliable solutions to improve the way in which we respond to fires while focusing on reducing the waste of clean water.

Planning Ahead

In case of a fire emergency, one must be able to respond quickly. One of the keys to doing so is to calculate the different water demands on different floors of a building. Knowing ahead where and how much water is required to protect the building against a fire is fundamental to ensure that you can act quickly and minimise any damage.

Multiple Usage For The Same Product

In order to optimise your response to emergency situations, try thinking strategically about the products you could be using.

For example, many of the products in our range can be used in different ways, ensuring a cheaper and safer result. One of the examples is represented by our clean water booster sets, that can also be used as fire sprinkler sets. The same thing applies to pumps: you have to be able to choose between pumps with multiple outlets due to different needs on the different floors.
