The Residential Course covers all Xylem pumps for residential applications, including end suction, multistage, drainage, sewage pumps, rainwater harvesting and booster sets. In addition, the three-day class covers motors, mechanical seals and residential drives. Attendees will receive instruction on sizing, applications, features/benefits of each product, and interactive training in the demonstration classroom. The residential course also includes a plant tour of the manufacturing facility in Montecchio, Italy. Each attendee will learn how to select and size the correct pump for the application. In addition, attendees will gain valuable experience regarding installation, set-up, and troubleshooting of residential pumps.

A complete presentation of Xylem wastewater/sewage pumps for residential, covering different impeller technologies available. The attendees also see different pumps working in various conditions on a demonstration unit.

Xylem’s facilities adopt the Lean Manufacturing approach, reducing the delivery time and waste with very high flexibility. During the tour the visitor has the possibility to see all the different steps in the manufacturing process, starting with the raw material up to shipment of the final product.

Hydroinfinity, the rainwater harvesting system developed by Xylem, allows recycling of rainwater and its different uses, using the integrated filtration and UV system. For all those markets where water scarcity is becoming a daily problem.
