The EZ Strainer® product is an innovative strainer designed specifically for use with Evoqua's ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems within the aquatics industry. It is the first and only clean-in-place, UV Strainer designed to provide safety and reliability against the rare chance of lamp or quartz breakage.

Installed beyond the UV lamp, the EZ Strainer strainer catches fine debris including lint, hair and any fragments in the event a UV lamp is damaged or cracked. Its unique design makes it easy to clean and maintain. The EZ strainer strainer does not require removal to be cleaned while still providing protection for patrons. Operators simply unlock and turn the handle (manual model) to clear fine debris from the strainer. No removal necessary. Note: The EZ Strainer strainer is specifically for use with UV Systems in recreational water applications. (Swimming pools, waterparks, splash pads, fountains, etc.) It is provided with all UV systems sold into aquatic applications and can be retrofit to existing UV Systems that do not have it.
