Goulds Water Technology e-Learning is an online training program focused on the latest advancements in commercial, residential and agricultural water technology applications. The virtual program is an extension of the in-person, hands-on training offered at the Goulds Factory School in Seneca Falls, New York, where, for more than 30 years, thousands of water industry professionals have been educated about the latest products and trends.

INTRODUCTION TO VERTICAL TURBINE PUMPS

Duration: 1 HR

In this three-module course, take an introductory look into vertical turbine pumps. Understand the markets and applications each type of vertical turbine pump is best suited for. Explore the components, materials of construction and typical terminology associated with these pumps. And finally, discover how to properly size and select a turbine pump for the application. This course is not yet approved for CEU’s.

GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY BASIC WATER SYSTEMS TRAINING

Duration: 1.5 HRS

This complimentary 11-module course focuses on pump basics, discharge conditions, understanding pump curves, sizing and selecting pumps, pressure storage tanks and other similar topics. Learners must achieve a cumulative score of 60% or higher to pass the course and earn the CEU’s.

GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVES

Duration: 1.5 HRS

In this four-module course learn what a VFD is and how it works.  Explore a typical VFD system. Understand the role each component plays in maintaining constant water pressure, and the effect of motor speed on pump performance.  Examine the various VFD system types and learn how to select, size and start up a system properly.  Finally, get familiar with common VFD failure modes, troubleshooting tools and steps you can take up front to minimize problems over time. Learners must achieve a cumulative score of 60% or higher to pass the course and earn the CEU’s.

GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY WASTEWATER TRAINING

Duration: 1.5 HRS

In this three-module course, learn about the different wastewater pump types and their functions. Understand how to calculate pump size and correctly select pumps. Finally, explore the various accessories available to aid in the use of a sump, sewage or effluent pump. Learners must achieve a cumulative score of 60% or higher to pass the course and earn the CEUs, when available.

INTRODUCING GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY: 4” SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS

Duration: 1.5 HRS

This product-specific course introduces the user to the GWT 4″ submersible well pump family, which includes the G, GS & HS Series. Discover the features and benefits, pump performance and construction design that make our 4″ submersible pump lines a dependable option for all applications.

INTRODUCING GOULDS WATER TECHNOLOGY: JET PUMPS

Duration: 1.5 HRS

This product-specific course introduces the user to the GWT line of jet pumps. Discover how the GWT jet pumps outperform against the competition. Learn service tips to help ensure a long life for the pump, as well as key features and benefits that make our line of jet pumps a dependable option for all applications.

  • All users must receive approval from the Kentucky Division of Water prior to registering for the Water Well courses

Minnesota

  • All users must complete and submit a User Verification Form (download here) within 10 days of completion of the Water Well courses

Nebraska

New Mexico

  • Water Well courses are approved as “Other”

Tennessee

  • Courses may be taken only 1x/2yrs. Users must complete and submit a User Verification Form (download here) within 10 days of completing the course.

Wisconsin

  • Pump Installers: Courses may be taken only 1x/3yrs. License holder may only receive credit during the year the course is taken.  Certificate of Completion required for attendance verification.
  • Wastewater Professionals: Users may not retake the same course for credit more than once during the 1-, 2- or 4-year term of a specific credential.  Users must complete and submit a User Verification Form (download here) within 10 days of completing the course.
