The SmartBall® platform is a free-flowing leak detection and mapping tool used to assess pressurized water and wastewater pipelines 8 inches and larger. It can detect leaks as small as 0.028 gal/min (0.11 liters), with a typical location accuracy of within 6 feet (1.8 meters). This innovative technology provides a non-invasive solution to assess pipeline integrity while minimizing disruption to service.
Acoustic Leak Detection with Sahara® Inspection
Our Sahara® inspection platform utilizes a tethered, multi-sensor tool to acoustically identify leaks while providing real-time pipeline condition information. The sensor, connected to the surface by a tether, allows operators to control its movement by winching it back and forth to accurately identify and confirm any anomalies, such as leaks and pinpoint their exact locations within the pipeline, all without disrupting service.
