Transition of Sensus’ Gas Regulator Products

As Sensus aims to become the leader in communicating meter technology, we continuously evolve and align our product offerings accordingly. Sensus entered an agreement to sell our commercial/industrial and residential regulator products to Utility Solutions Group (USG), whose primary focus is on those items. Their acquisition of Sensus’ regulator lines complements their existing business model and allows for growth with minimal disruption to our customers.

Why is this good news for our loyal and long-standing customer base? USG offers logistics infrastructure, technical expertise, and the production capacity ramp up manufacturing and service to gas distributors and utilities. This transition allows our customers continued access to this trusted product line in an efficient manner.

While residential regulators were sold in 2021, the commercial and industrial lines moved in the fourth quarter of 2023. Sensus and USG worked closely throughout this process to shift product families over in planned phases for a seamless experience for customers. USG will manage any material returns and Sensus will honor the existing warranties. Now, orders should be submitted directly to USG at orders@my-usg.com.
